Source of Life Technologies Announces Partnership with Dementia By Day

Source of Life Technologies is collaborating with Dementia By Day to bring dementia care insights and peace of mind to caregiving.

Source of Life Technologies, an innovative technology company offering solutions to bring peace of mind and independence into the senior community, care providers, and their families, is partnering up with Dementia by Day consultant and author, Rachael Wonderlin, to help bring dementia care insights to our community. We are constantly striving to provide information on proactive solutions to caregiving and see value in collaborating as a way to assist in streamlining care initiatives and highlighting fresh opportunities for advancement in senior care. You can expect to see monthly insights from Rachael on the blog offering tips on approaches to dementia care for the senior community. We can create a continuum of proactive care by combining the two.

Dementia By Day is a dementia care consulting company that helps senior living providers elevate their dementia care. You can learn more here.

According to a recent report by the Alzheimer Association, with the increasing number of people age 65 and older in the United States the annual number of new cases of Alzheimer’s and other dementias is projected to double by 2050. Falls in the senior community are common, costly, preventable and have been a major focus for us.

“As the healthcare industry is evolving towards more innovative senior care opportunities using technology and changing mindsets, there is a large need to advocate for and educate our care providers on proactive treatment options,” shares Dr. Dev Brar, President and CEO of Source of Life Technologies. “When my path crossed with Rachael, I immediately understood how her message is helping to bridge the gap between people living with dementia and their care providers.”

Senior care is continuously being revolutionized. Challenges of mobility, sight, hearing and cognitive impairment, such as dementia, puts seniors at higher risk for falls. It’s time to develop a strategy where patients, providers, and family can work alongside one another, sharing information and insights, collecting data and formulating strategies. A more proactive approach and collaboration will eliminate surprises in healthcare costs, visits, and plans thus bringing peace of mind to all.

Let’s first start by collaborating together to bring new strategies and insights where needed.
